Nightmare, Irish Dry Stout

What would the warmer months be without a hefeweizen? Using premium floor malted wheat from Germany, this beer is crisp, clean with just the right amount of fruity ester notes. Refreshing is an understatement!

Dreamsicle Sour, Sour Ale w/Vanilla and Orange

What could be better than America’s favorite orange & vanilla dreamsicle combo? Adding that dynamic duo to beer of course! This experimental beer in our sour series is a beautiful light orange & gold in color with a lighter body and bursting with fresh orange and vanilla to help balance some of the tartness. We kettle-sour the beer using our proprietary blend of lactobacillus bacterias. The addition of orange and vanilla makes the beer as refreshing and complex as they come. It’s a lil’ bit sweet, a lot of a bit tart, and a whole lot of delicious. So pour yourself a glass and start dreaming of more.

Orange Peel Patio Crusher, Session Saison w/Orange Peel

Using the base recipe of the Patio Crusher - we take a ton of orange peel and brew a beer that will blast your face off with citrus rind goodness. It gives an amazing bouquet and citrus bite from the rind to an already refreshing experience. There’s no reason a patio crusher can't have a little extra orange peel blast.

Brewers Awakening, Double IPA

Don't let the golden color of this brew fool you or you are in for a brewers awakening. 89 IBU's make this one potent Double IPA. A complex nose will overwhelm the senses using Simcoe, Citra and Crystal hops to give a blend of tropical fruit, citrus and pine. Centennial hops provide a strong bitter backbone with just a hint of sweetness coming from Golden Promise & American pale malt as our base with minimal use of light crystal malts. Expect a bitter & smooth approach with a citrus, fruity & semi-sweet finish.

Patio Crusher, Session Saison

Summer in Minnesota doesn't last very long, so when it is here, people are drinking beer ON THE PATIO! To complement this experience, we created a beer using pilsner and light crystal malts to keep it low on body and high on flavor. Finishing this beer with noble hops balances it perfectly. When you need to enjoy the patio all day long, crush on this brew.

Watermelon Sour, Sour Ale w/Watermelon

What if all the monsters in our minds are really just dreams waiting for us to let them come out to play?

This warped offering in our sour beer series is a beatuiful light gold in color with a lighter body and bursting with fresh watermelon to help balance some of the tartness. We kettle-sour the beer using our proprietary blend of lactobacillus bacterias. The addition of watermelon makes the beer as refreshing and complex as they come. It’s a lil’ bit sweet, a lot of a bit tart, and a whole lot of delicious. Ale to the Princess, English Brown Ale

Victorious, happy and glorious, this English inspired brown ale resembles the Northern version of the style. Balanced and malt forward with slight hints of caramel and nuttiness. Very low on the hoppy side, you won't notice much if any bitterness. This beer is smooth and goes down without any offense. We brew it at the stronger end of the spectrum for the Northern version of the style (we like to live dangerously). God save the princess!

Sleep Paralysis, Norwegian Farmhouse Triple IPA

For our 500th batch, we had to do something special and unique... wow is this one crazy! We brewed up a triple IPA that drinks like a NE Style Triple IPA (slightly sweet, less bitter with citrus hops) yet is bright and clear like a filtered IPA. We used a special farmhouse yeast strain from Norway that ferments at ridiculously high temperatures and provides tropical flavors and complex aromas of stone fruit, pineapple, and dried fruit leather. Mix that in with Cryo Citra, Cryo Eukanot, and Australian Galaxy hops for a citrus fruit bomb. Be careful though, this is a beer that sneaks up on you. With a sweet, malt-forward body, the hops blend perfectly to cover up the 10.7% ABV... if you don’t respect the beer, you might end up as the name implies. Cheers to 500 batches and cheers to many more!

LTD Root Beer, House Made Craft Soda

If we have to be honest - and we always are - this isn't a beer. It's a beverage. But our patrons love it a lot, so we'll allow this 'beer'. Made in house and amazing.

BEERS ON CASK -

What is a cask beer you ask? It is the type of serving style you are most likely to encounter in the United Kingdom, The beer is first naturally carbonated or "Conditioned" in the vessel (Cask) that it will be served in by allowing the yeast to ferment further. The beer is unfiltered and unpasteurized and served at cellar temperature using what is called a beer engine (a hand pump that pulls the beer from the cask without any Co2 or Nitrogen pressure to dispense). Our Cask beers are always rotating and typically have a unique twist on the original beer.

Ale to the Queen, English Brown Ale

SPECIALTY BOMBER BOTTLES (750ML)

At LTD Brewing, we have wild imaginations that can only be tamed through experimentation. The Monster Series is what happens when we let our minds run wild. Beers that are unharnessed and unhinged. The true manifestation of our motto: Limited batches and unlimited possibilities. If you hit the taproom at the right time, we might have some of these bottles available, even if they are not on tap. Enjoy the bottle in the taproom (a server must open it for you) or take it home to enjoy.

Night Falls 2019

These past five years have been about 2 things: the beer and the people (YOU!).  And that’s what we’re celebrating this year – What you mean to us and all the beers we’ve shared.  So here’s to another amazing year and another amazing beer!

We started with our popular Night Falls Russian imperial stout and let it mellow in award winning Breckenridge Bourbon barrels for 8 months.  Time filled this beer with an exquisitely rich and complex profile: expect notes of vanilla, oak, brown sugar, Chocolate, char, and a bit of bourbon heat which mingleS perfectly with the roasted malt and dark fruit flavors.

Enjoy now or let it hang out in your cellar and crack it open when you need to break out the good stuff.

So here's to 5 years. And thank you from the bottom of our hearts & barrels.
